My most successful shopping day EVER!

Hi, folks. I'm new to the forum but wanted to share my story. I've been inspired by all your successes and today I put what I've learned here to the test.

A quick but HUGE thank you to sirsavealot for the info on the Walgreens' Robitussin deal that started it all.

I printed every internet coupon I could use plus put together the ones from the Sunday paper. I checked my circulars, made my list, and off I went.

I went to three stores: Walgreens, Publix and Food Lion. They were all on the way of each other and within five miles of me, so it was easy to hit all of them.

Between sale items, B1G1F, register rewards and coupons, I saved $55.18! And I spent $71.97, so I saved almost as much as I spent!

Some of my best parts included:
the Walgreens' Robitussin sale/RR deal
a bag of Chex Mix for .49
4, 7.5 ounce Chef Boyardee microwave pastas for .49 each
2 bags of pizza rolls for 2.00 each
2, 12 count bags of Schick disposable razors for 1.99 each

I am so happy I found this website and that we have this forum. It makes all the difference for me!
