About time i score something at kroger. lol Stopped in last night for a sushi craving ( they always mark it down in the evening) As i was walking down the rice isle for some reason. I noticed the uncle bens whole grain white variteies of rice were on close out from 2.67 to 1.14 Most which had $1/1 peelies on them i got 34 boxes for $4.76 sweet tomato, broccoli , chicken, taco were the flavors i got.

When they do a clearance on a product like that, do they do it in all the area Krogers, or just that one? Which store did you go to so I don't go there too?

Me too! I get mine from Giant Eagle and do all my shopping in the early afternoon so it is never priced down at that time. Wish I could get out later and see if they do this , but with my 4 kids those hours are dedicated to diner and homework then bed !

It was on clearance at my Kroger as well for $1.14 but no peelies. Clearance is usually at all Krogers. Manager Specials are only at one.

Jan , It was the alexis rd kroger, It's hit or miss there sometime they let you use 90890 coupons, other times they try to tell you "3" .. Where as every other kroger here doesnt care how many you use. Hell i was at a kroger in beckley , WV (VA?) on my way home from NC last month and it said "unlimited doubles" in the ad!

Oh and also i saw the minute rice on "close out" at a few stores too for .99 it's the brown rice single serve 4pk bowls if im not mistaking , there's .50/1 coupons from one of the previous papers that are still valid . I just need to dig them out . lol Also for those that are not fans of walmart, now's the time to check them out and those that are fans now is the time to go. Tons and tons and TONS of clearance items. Way marked down. I got my dad 5 sweaters for 3.00 each ( with hunting/nature stuff on them) I didnt have time to browse the food/health and beauty stuff yet. Sooooo much to look at. All walmarts are starting to do invetory so they're cleaning house and marking it way down.
