Default CVS run today, I did good!

I hit up CVS today, had been meaning to do this deal all week, finally got to do it today.

6 Speed Stick deodorant- $1.99 on sale used BOGO free coupon which rang in at $3.99 automatically= all for free
    2 gallons of milk-$2.99 used $1 off 2 Deans
    2 Jumbo packs Pampersdiapers-2 for $19 used $1.50 Q off each
    1 Thermacare back wraps-$5.99 used $1 off 1
    1 50ct Advil- $4.99 used $1 off 1
    1 Pampers baby wipes-$3 used 50c off 1

    Also used:
    $10 off $50
    87c ECB
    $1 ECB
    $6 ECB

    Paid $16.52 OOP incl tax
    Got $22 in ECB back

I am not sure why the BOGO free coupon is ringing in $3.99 automatically. I do know that if I go in and manually alter the price of the coupon, our store does not get any credit for the coupon, so I just let them through as is, I don't mess with them. And my coworker who rang me out with my first set of deodorant work on Monday did the same, as did the cashier at the store I hit up today. I will take totally free deodorant any day of the week

I have been TRYING to get the shave gel deal, any of it, this week, but every single store, including mine, is out. I am hoping that as the end of the month gets closer, it will be a bit easier to find. Especially if more stores start making up random limits as they freak out of the limit of 100 of it.

Be sure to do the mail-in rebate for the Speed Stick to make it a great money-maker!

Rebate? I wasn't aware of a rebate? I will have to hunt that out!

I did however get the paper for the $10 rebate on the advil/thermacare so I am going to do that tomorrow.

Next time you call, ask when their stock truck comes. Our truck only comes once a week, on Monday, so if we are out of something on Tuesday (like totally out with nothing in the back) then we aren't getting anymore until the next Monday. The only exception is large case items, like paper towels, water, etc, because that sort of stuff is easily transferred between stores. Little stuff like deodorant, shampoo, soap, etc, I haven't seen us transfer that between stores in the entire two years I have worked there.

It was in the inserts this past Sunday but seems to be regional.

Ok you work for CVS? I have a question for you then =D The speedstick has an ECB promo attached with it, but if you only buy 6 of them you fall pennies short of the $12 purchase. Did you get a ECB for buying the 6.. or not? CVS has some great deals this week but my ignorance of intricacies like this could lead me to overspend =P

Yes, buying 6 will still produce the ECBs. Generally, when you are within a few pennies due to items being priced at $x.99, it prints no problem.
