    Default New Wags Coupon Policy

I don't know if this is new news or not but when I was in my local Wags earlier tonight my favorite cashier told me that effective today, Wags will no longer allow the use of 2 coupons towards any BOGO free sale.

In the past if they had a BOGO item, you could use (2) coupons, but not anymore.

    Thoughts?

Did anyone check out to see if they updated the policy on their website?

My dh is a manager at wags and i asked him and he said he knews they "updated" the policy on Jan 10th but when he went into the system to see if it changed under bogo it still says this:

Buy One, Get One Free Coupons
When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.
Sales tax must be paid for any Buy One, Get One Free coupon offers, if required by applicable state laws.

Weather that will change in the future or not i dunno but as far as he knows no one else was told about any changes, and information like that would have been circulated through their coporate website "news letter" they have to read to each manager every morning.

Maybe that particular store is making up their own policies? I would just print the most current copy of the policy and tell them that until coporate changes it on their website or if you call them and ask them about it and they read you the same information, i would go by the actual policy and not cashier's "gossip" lol.. even nice ones tend to be wrong sometimes.

She told me that this came down from corporate this morning. I can't think of too many times when I've gone to Wags and they had BOGO items I wanted. Who knows. I will follow up with the store manager tomorrow. Just throwing a heads up out there to the community.

A few weeks ago, I had a 'new' Wags manager tell me that I could no longer give my Wags q's after my Mfg q's because 'policy' indicates the wag's q's go first. Ugh! At the moment I feel like whatever, but that's only because I've lost my mojo and have no interest in actually doing any drugstore deals...

I swear that each Walgreens cashier/manager makes up their own rules, for whatever reason and that going to every Walgreens is totally different than the others with no consistency on rules, coupons, customer service (or lack of it), etc.

I doubt this a new national policy since Wags registers (and CVS for that matter) still total all like items together for coupon redemption. He is just being a downer.
