I am having to cobble together some deals to get the turkeys I want for the year. I prefer to get 6 turkeys, and then we eat them throughout the year. But this freaking minimum purchase requirement has really messed me up.

Anyway, I received my Kroger "stalker" coupons this week, with free eggs, and free hot dogs(?) and I had a couple things I needed anyway, so I spent about half an hour planning my stuff, and matching my coupons and here's what I got:

1 dozen eggs
1 pkg hot dogs
10 cans of chicken broth
8 cans of cream of chicken soup
2 tubs of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter
1 loaf of bread
2 boxes of turkey bags
1 box of idahoan potatos (those scalloped ones.)
And of course 1 23lb turkey

I used:
(1) free dozen eggs
(1) free pkg hot dogs
(1) free box of Idahoan potatos (from All You)
(2) 50c off a box of turkey oven bags
(2) 50c off 5 cans of swanson broth
(2) 25c off 4 cans of cream of chicken
(1) $1.50 off 2 ICBINB
(1) free bread when you buy 2 ICBINB

I also had a $5 off $50 that I should have been able to use, but I am stupid and forgot to give it to her BEFORE I punched in my number for my kroger card. And she wouldn't do it anyway (I would have at CVS.) Anyway, since it took my discounts when I punched in my number, that took my total below $50. Whatever.

Shelf Cost: $80.93
Tax: 26c
Savings: 52.43
Total OOP: $26.76
Savings: 66%

Not too shabby.
