I keep learning and saving more over time ~ woohoo! Got a good result even though I could not use my Krusteaz Qs today, as they were out of stock. I did make sure to get a rain check, though. That receipt will look sweeeet as well.
![]() OOP: 9.80 Saved: 47.11 Made sure I asked about the number of mega deals allowed in one transaction (either 3 or 4, depending on who I talked to!), how many of each item I could buy (no limit), and how many 50 cent and under coupons would double (no limit). Your store may be different, so be sure to ask. Also, I had a lot of Kroger Qs that just came in the mail, so be sure they have your street address. You can sign up at the customer service desk. For example, I had Qs for FREE Tombstone Pizza, FREE Dial Soap, and FREE Oscar Mayer lunch meat. Yippee! Finally, DH and I had to admit that it was probably better for me to shop alone, as he gets impatient. Initially, we wanted to take advantage of his senior discount, but it turns out that I save more on my own because I can take my time and not be DISTRACTED. ![]() Moral of the story: Be patient and persistent and keep plodding along. I have not caught on to this nearly as quickly as some folks, but it's all good! Run your own race and have fun with it!
