I wouldn’t go so far as to say that you’re cheap
Maybe you’re just frugal, that’s less of a leap
The label police would probably let it slide
If I said your nerdiness is virtually bonafide
You got your scissors waiting by the door
So you can cut out the coupon for the next score
You peruse the Sunday ads like a private eye
“Dang, a Double Savings clip, I could just die”
All your friends nicknamed you the Bargain Sleuth
You’re the best coupon clipper from here to Duluth
Name brand stuff in quantities that would fill a truck
I can’t believe you could have this kind of luck
Most girls keep their coupons in a pocket in their purse
You got so many, figuring out where to put ‘em is a curse
Where to go and when to use em, you got it down to a science
I swear, its like you and Albertson’s have formed an alliance
Keeping track of expiration dates takes precise organization
Ooh! Buy one milk get one free, double the homogenization
A couple dozen boxes of Count Chocula and Honey Comb
If I didn’t know any better, I’d guess you had 20 kids at home
When you get home you brag that you save more than you spend
Circling the savings at the bottom of the receipt with a pink pen
Grocery shopping used to be your least favorite chore
Now that its your hobby you like doing it a lot more
Go couponing all you want to, I really don’t mind it at all
Just please tell me they don’t print coupons for the mall
