Just had my first 'mega-savings'

I was looking at the site and found a few deals to try out for my first attempt. One I couldn't take advantage of because SmartSource didn't put a coupon in my local inserts . But I saw Carnation Evaporated Milk for free, though the site is a little off. You have to buy 10 to get them for 49 cents each. On top of that I had 4 coupons for buy 2 and get 50 cents off and with my Kroger Card I was able to double those up.

All in all, I spent $1.14 on 10 cans of Evap Milk, saving $12 off the bill.

A great beginning and great motivation to keep working at this.

I just started couponing a few weeks ago, and let me tell you, the more you read on the forums the more you will learn and save, it's a little addictive. but I don't mind since it is saving my family money, great job again!

can someone verify this for me say you buy 10 2liters of coke at the mega deal price of 79cents each 7.90 total . then at the register they take off another 5.00 ? or is the 7.90 the total at the register ? sorry but i dont really shop at krogers that often & am still kinda new at the whole coupon thing.

My husband always says to me 'coupons again'? You are always on this site! And then I tell him how much I saved that day and he says, well it looks like it's working I guess Yeah For Coupon Mom! Thanks to everyone I am off this week to do 3x at HT!!!!!!!!!!!!
