You can mix and match the Mega items, you don't have to buy 10 of the same thing. The Coke price is $1.29, if you buy 10 Mega items they deduct $5 from your total so the final price is $0.79 ($1.29-$0.50 each item).

LOL mine was a bit reluctant at first. Like it was just my job to do all the coupons.... and he had an irrational fear of any "back stock" of stuff. Then I would work up deals, gather the coupons and send HIM off to the store with strict instructions. The first time he paid $30 for $180 worth of stuff, he was ok with it. Now when I'm behind clipping I hand him the coupons and a pair of scissors.

He still messes up occasionally if I don't give him a specific list. The other day I sent him off with a fist full of coupons and instructions to get dog food, litter and dog treats... get right at $25 worth, then use these coupons... it should be about $5 oop... the big dope comes home having spent $20 out of pocket! He didn't add the items up in his head like I told him. ARRRGH! Sometimes I'd just like to... poke him in the eye! LOL

They are $1.29 each, making it $12.90, but with the mega deal (10 items) it will be $5 off of the $12.90 which would make them $7.90 at the register. Hope that helps.

Oh and by the way, I used to never shop at Kroger either...but now I get more for my money at Kroger when I use coupons with their sales. Last week's and this week's mega deals have helped me replenish my freezer and pantry...as I was starting to get low.

Last week I got $148 worth of groceries for $57 and today I was able to get $131 worth of groceries for $31 and got 2 $2 off your next order coupons. Happy Krogering

the reg. price for the soda would be $1.29 the meal deal says, buy 10 participating items get $5 off - what they do is deduct .50 cents off of each product, so that would total to $5 - so, 1.29 - .50 = .79

does that make sense, did i explain that right?

now if you have a coupon for ?? item, for example the bumble bee tuna, would be 0.0 OOP !!
