Teaching others to coupon:priceless
Its getting to be that time of year again where we're all thinking about the Holidays and what to do for others. As many of you have read in my posts there are members of my family that are barely making it no matter how much overtime or work they put in.
Recently my mother has expressed an interest in couponing. My parents are very affluent, however you would never know it. However in this econamy EVERYONE should/needs to watch their money. SO off to Walgreens we went to try and get the most bang for our buck, everything purchased was going into a box for my family members for Christmas. Below is what we were able to work out, she started with no RR and didnt have any coupons at all accept for a few .50/1 halls refresh. You'll have to excuse this post if you read it earlier because somehow the entire second half of the post was deleted, no clue what went on there.
-4 Quker Oats
-4 Spaghettios
-2 Large bags Doritos
-3 Dove bar soap
-2 Halls Cough drops
-1 Chapstick
-4 Act popcorn
-1 J and J baby powder
-4 12 packs coke
Everything was purchased for a total of about $21 dollars, and rolled RR throughout. Its a high total however half of the total was for the coke! She did awesome and i'm very proud of her, now we have a ton of stuff to add to the Christmas gift box! I've also gotten Airwick air fresheners at Target for .99 to add as well as other things.
