DH had to go to the DR today. He has Grave's Disease. It was renewal time for him to be written a year script. I had some Target $10 gift card script coupons. I had never done the perscription coupon/gift card new script/transfer stuff before.

His script was $4, and I got a $10 gc. .....and away I went, leaving DH with the 7 yo, and 4 yo in the toy department with a $5 a piece spending limit.

5 candle refills $2.50 - $1.50 = $1 ea
6 Dove Lotions $5.00 - $1.50 = $3.50 ea
2 Chex Mix (price matched to Wags $1.50 - $1 tq - $.50 ip)= FREE
30 Fancy Feast = FREE
2 Quaker Bites $2.04 - $.50 = $1.54
1 Apple Jacks $2.99 - $1 tq - $1 mfq = .99 (DH favorite, he wanted)
1 Tank (DS 4 yo) $5
1 Barbie (DD 7 yo) $4.97
1 Mystery Hot Wheel (didn't I already mention DH was with me, )$1
2 Cinnabon $2.79 - $1 ip = $1.79 (I love these!)
minus bag credits ebt/gift cards (I did 5 trannys; received/used total of $30 in gift cards)
Total OOP $10.02 (I somehow made those kids stay in budget!)

Made a deal if they got to Mickey D it, I got to WAG it!

So McDonald's got $16 of our purchasing power today (That just burns me up now that I know how much I can get with $16 since I've changed my way a thinking!)

Mc D's is beside Family Dollar, Swung in left DH in van w/ kids.

36 packs Kodak Batteries $.59 ea (on gift card I won last week from local grocery store!)

It's been a really good day. Just filled out my Glade rebate, already in the mailbox!

Now on to cook supper.

MTNHONEY, grab your Walgreens sales paper take it back to the store, show them the coupon and ask for the difference. I had this happen one time and my Walgreens gave me the difference.

Nice deals. I would keep that ad for Walgreens for Target. Kellogg's cereal 12 to 14oz. is on sale for $1.75.

If you didn't get the gigantor box, I would price match & get that puppy for free.
