    Arrow My Coin Jars

Just wanted to share that I have been CVS, Rite Aide, and Walgreen shopping for a little over a month now and I always pay in cash, (Bills, no coins) and I save all the coins I get back and put them into 2 Auto counting jar banks that I have. One is for Quarters and the other for the pennies, nickels and dimes.

To date I have accumulated $51.75 in the quarter jar and $24.58 in the other. Just think how much will be in those jars after 1 year!

Just another way to save! (for a rainy day, or a good CVS sale)

    God Bless!

Great Idea. My niece used one of those huge mylar baloons and put any $1 bills she or her husband had in it at the end of the day. She rolled the bills up and slipped them in the valve. After a year she cut the thing open and found she had over $5k!!

We have a bank bag that we put our change into every day. When the bag is full we take it to the bank and deposit it. We also put a dollar a day into a tin and at the end of the month we deposit the dollars. We play Megabucks once a week and if we win a dollar here or there we'll put that in with the cash too. And any other extra money we might bet like at my job or my husband's.

We call the account that put that money in our "Romance Fund" and we use it to take weekend get away trips. So rather than put our trips on Credit cards, we save for them and use the money from those accounts.

Good idea. That's how we paid for most of our Disney Trip last summer.

Great Idea! I wish I would have thought of that. It's great for my kids and their schooling so I must do this. We have heaps of coins everywhere and don't have a place to put them other than a bowl here and there. If we start to do all cash and put in the coins.... We would have a savings! The kids would love it!!
    With much Aloha and Blessings!

When I'm really in savings mode I go to the bank and get rolls of dimes or quarters and throw those in the jar too.

I use a old water jug the ones for the water dispensers. The neck makes it impossible to just reach in and take coins and dollars out. I have the 5 gallon water one but they come in 2 gallon. They range from about 5-15 but they are awsome for coins
