Pretty good shopping trip!
Last week and this week my city (Lexington) has a new Kroger grand opening sale and Huggies diapers are on sale for $6.99. A pretty good price since they are usually $9.99 on sale.Well, I had $1.50 manufacturers coupons and coupons loaded on my Kroger card. I paid $3.99 each for diapers. I used all of the electronic coupons I had loaded and then bought more diapers and paid $5.49 for some more. I have about 10 pkgs of diapers stocked! I got the next larger size so I know I will be able to use them. There are probably many people out there who can do better, but for me.....I am very happy with my savings. I also paired up electronic coupons with coupons in hand and got free fruit roll ups, super cheap brownie mix and lots of other great deals. They also have the buy 10 and get $3 off your order. I got that reward twice. Total before coupons and Kroger card savings: 331.12. Total after all saving:193.57. I saved 42%. I got ground chuck for 1.99lb, chicken, boston butt to make pulled pork.
I had many electronic coupons and coupons in hand that were expiring yesterday so I bought things that made my total more than it would normally have been.
