Default Sam's

Similac powdered formula .82/oz (before manuf checks- which they do take)
Generic claritin about $13/ 300 pills
Prenatal vitamins about the same as the claritin
Bananas .41/lb for 3# bag
Canned tomatoes (and tomato products- sauce, etc), canned pineapple- you can get a comperable price on these two at the grocery stores if you have a lot of the required q's and are very patient (we use these way too much to wait)
Ecos laundry detergent (natural, no funky ingredients, usually sold at Trader Joes & natural food stores)

Sam's deals I buy-can't remember prices

Milk
Bananas
Tires-free rotation and balance for the life of tires, plus you can shop while you wait
Olive Oil
Fresh Flowers-getting my wedding flowers here and saving a bunch
Gas
String Cheese
Cat Litter
Chips
Tampons
Vitamins/meds-just the ones I can't find coupons/sales for
Spices
Travel Club-my brother got a great deal here for his honeymoon

Before couponing I used to buy much more including Toilet paper, detergent, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner, dishwashing tabs, trash bags,

Cosco
Meats-steaks, pork loin, hamburger
Cakes-I'm using their sheet cakes for my wedding and saving a ton of money. They have the BEST cakes. You can order filling (raspberry, fudge or vanilla) Best store bought cake I've ever bought. They are cheap too, only $16 for a whole sheet cake including filling.

Default Costco

The main reason I join is for the photo lab. Their quality is great and they are cheaper than the drug stores. I print a lot of pictures each year.

I also buy gas, pot roast, fresh fruit and veggies, clothes for the baby, bathing suit for me, blank cds, photoshop this year, and a diet coke when I walk in. With staples and non perishables, I use the calculator on my phone when deciding whether something is really a good deal. I take the best price I would get something for at a Publix/Kroger sale using a doubled coupon. If it is the same or less, I will get it at Costco because it is easier.

I also have a Sam's membership because I got my mom's second card when she signed up years ago when I still lived at home. When I did not have a Costco membership, I would go there once or twice a year and get page protectors and my yearly bathing suit. I do like their pizza you buy to bake at home better than the Costco version.

Default Costco

We just got our Costco, so I have just started to add them to my price book. I have found that they are cheaper on cooking oil, grated cheese and chicken breast. My family can not go without grated cheese. Costco is only about .22 ounce. If no one has it on sale, I will go there. They are also cheaper on snack items.

My brother works for Sam's so I have the extra card on his membership (free for him and me!). The only regular items I pick up at Sam's are milk and cheese, but there are many things that I would buy if there were more than my husband and me to feed. The big bag of shredded cheese gets divided up into gallon ziplocs and all but one of these go into the freezer until we need them. I use the cheese on everything from pasta to pizza to salad.

Smart and Final shredded cheese 5lb bag $11.20ish or something close to that.

I figured it was around $2.20ish a pound which is way better than the $2 per 8oz I find to be the best price in the regular grocery stores that I shop at. I bought 2 5lb bags about a month ago and I am just now getting low. 10 pounds of cheese in a month!!!! Holy moly, no wonder my thighs rub together!!! Well, in my pleasantly plump defense I do have 3 teen boys who love their Mexi-Cali food - quesadillas, enchiladas, breakfast burritos, nachos, etc.

Default Sam's Club

We buy the following at Sam's Club:

Generic Zyrtec $17ish for 300 doses
Soy Milk $2.40/ per half gallon (this price fluctuates quite a bit, but $2.41 is the highest I've paid at Sam's)
Vitamin E capsules $9ish for 400
Generic Benadryl $2ish for 200
Generic Aleve $5ish for 100
Multivitamins $9ish for 300
Beer - varies
Wine - varies
Jug O Pretzels $5ish for 5lbs.
Nacho Chips $2.58 for a 2lb. bag
String Cheese $1.50ish/lb.
Copy Paper $15ish for a whole box
The occasional electronic device when the price is lower than other places.

We used to buy a lot more things at Sam's, but now that I use coupons we no longer buy laundry soap, margarine, yogurt, shredded cheese, toilet paper, paper towels, razors, toothpaste, deodorant, condiments or juice boxes, because I can get them cheaper at the grocery store. Our Sam's does not have particularly nice produce, but every now and then they have a good price on potatoes and bananas.

I had a Costco card until recently, now my friend's just brings me when I need.

Best deals:

Silk soy milk- 3pk (best by far)
Heintz Ketchup -3 pk
Milk
Juice Boxes
Individually Wrapped cheese sticks for lunches (these so rarely go on sale and are so expensive in the store)
Vitamins
5 hour energy drinks (my FH uses them for late ball games)
Coffeemate
Formula

Gas, usually a few cents to 10c cheaper than anywhere else
Pizza - already cooked, X-large for only 10$ and good

I shop at Costco. I am relatively new to couponing so I am not as good at it yet as many of these folks (but will keep working at it!). I do like my Costco quite a bit. I'd say what I primarily use the Costco for is fresh meat, when none of the other stores around me are having sales. Short of a sale, they have the best prices for me. Also, I have never had a bad experience with their meats. In my opinion their steaks are great. They are USDA Choice, when many time you are paying the same pricing for USDA Select in the grocery stores. I also use Costco sometime for treat items, like gigantic bags of Honey BBQ chicken wings (yum), potstickers, and especially around the holidays, I may get an assorted slice cheesecake. (yes these are expensive items, but tend to be less than the price I could get them for in the grocery store, even with coupons). My stores typically do not double, and tripling is unheard of.

Ok, there's my two cents worth.
