    Default New to Coupon Mom

I'm new to coupon mom but I've been collecting and using coupons for almost a year now and I love it! I'm 25 and not a mom yet but I was exciting to find a group of people as excited about coupons as I am. I'm known as the 'coupon queen' to my friends as I'm always clipping or organizing my coupons - and if they go shopping with me I usually say 'I have a coupon for that.' It's so suprising how many people don't use coupons - I get to the cashier in the grocery store and hand them my big handful of coupons and they always look suprised at how many I use. I have found great satisfaction out of Kroger's double-coupon days and Publix's buy 1 get 1 when I have a coupon for those items on top of it! For nice clothes or work clothes - my favorite store, New York & Co., periodically sends out wonderful coupons - $30 off a purchase of $75 just because I'm signed up for their email notifications. I have also purchased the Entertainment Book (entertainment.com) for my area - and use those wonderful coupons as much as I can (for local resteraunts, entertainment, travel, retail and more). I'm a little disapointed - the 2009 book doesn't have the awesome Kroger coupons in it this time but it's still a good resource. I hope to learn a lot from ya'll and will let you know of any good deals I come across.

Oh yeah, I wanted to add something else. If any of you like Joann Fabrics - they take competitor coupons - so those 40% Michael's coupons are good there as well. They'll let you use as many coupons as you want - but they are no good on items already on sale. I'm on my way there right now actually

Thanks for the info about JoAnn's, they're closer than Michael's is.
