OMGosh what is it with them?!? Those are my main two issues with them too!!! They have to be the RUDEST people in the entire 'grocery world'....does safeway put ads for employment asking for the rudest, nastiest people possible?? I am also ALWAYS getting charged the wrong amount, I cant tell you how many times Ive bought something, walked out to my car and reviewed my reciept and found at least one error...SO frustrating!! I cant believe this is how ALL their stores are, how the heck do they stay in business???
Without frugality none can be rich, and with it very few would be poor.

HUH?? "You are only allowed to shop in the store once each week"

What the hay?? That has got to be the most utterly ridiculous statement to come out of a store manager's mouth, I've ever heard.

I think it depends on your coupons. The ones the come out in the Safeway ad say that they are limit 4 (or whatever) per household. So you wouldn't even try to buy more than 4, and if you accidentally did, they'd connect with your card, so you'd be denied.

But manf Q's very rarely say this. They are 1 coupon for each purchase (1 item, or perhaps off 2) so you could use a bunch of them, right? If you buy 10, you should be able to use 10 coupons.

I haven't had trouble in my Safeway with either of these situations.

Now, where I have a YMMV situation is with stacking coupons. My local Safeway lets you stack a manf q with the q from their ad. So if poptarts are $1 and you can buy a limit of 6 for $1 each with the Safeway coupon from their ad AND you have 6 buck off coupons from the newspaper, you get 6 for free. BUT the other Safeway a few more miles out thinks you're nuts for even suggesting this and accuses you of "double dipping". So, check with customer service to get stuff figured out before you go to all the trouble of loading your cart - KWIM?
