SAFEWAY: FREE Sparkle & Angel Soft w/o 8.26.09
If you have any prints left from the $2 off any Angel Soft & Sparkle, now is your time to use them at Safeway. They are on sale for $.99 each. I was able to use 6 at a time with no beeps. Just had to pay tax of $.98 total. Not bad for 24 singles rolls of TP and 6 big rolls of paper towels!

Yup I know...free TP in WA - yay! I actually got these on trade and they arrived after the Albys sale about a month ago and I have hung onto them. Good thing I did. I haven't been to Safeway since they had V8 for $1.99 something and I had the $2 off Fusions.... long time ago!
I looked for the Spring-whatever bacon and its $4.99 so even with a $3 off I/P q, still $2. Is that a good price for this stuff?

The Smithfield bacon was on sale 2/$6 or $3.00 ea. Unfortunately, it ended on Tuesday. I don't think $2 is a bad deal for bacon, but you might want to hold on to your coupon, depending on the exp. date, you may get to use it later for a better deal. I don't shop at Fred Meyer very much, maybe they have that brand. Don't you have a Winco around you, check them out as well. Good luck, and I'm extremely jealous over the FREE TP.

The Silverdale Safeway will only let you use 1, yes one of the same IP coupon per trip no matter how many items you get.

I have had that same issue with SOME of the cashiers, especially if it is a manager, but others will occasionally let me use two. It is usually a male. Haven't been shopping there much lately with so much going on at Albertsons though.
Safeway Coupon Policies
I just re-read Safeway's Coupon Policies and nowhere does it say there is a limit to the number of coupons you can use in any way. I wonder if you brought along a copy of the policy and showed it to them if it would help? I've never had anyone (anywhere) tell me I couldn't use more than one of a particular coupon for something. If I buy 10 rolls of tp and have 10 internet printed (or regular) coupons, they should take them. Has anyone ever questioned this or showed them the policy?

I agree with what you say. You would think that they would at least let us use 2 IP's for the same thing since THEIR OWN website will let us print 2.
