I know I have seen this sale at Safeway many times but it has been awhile. Does anyone know when this sale is coming or if they even go that low of ground beef anymore.

I haven't seen Ground Beef at .99/lb in several months if not a year in my area. I'm stuck with paying $2.39 as a lowest possible price right now. As a matter of fact, this was in my ad for Family Fare for Gr. Beef... are they nuts?

That is crazy. I stocked up when it was 1.99 for lean ground beef. I wish I could tell you when there will be a sale. Hopefully when it gets a little closer to summer.

Thanks for the responses......I guess a girl can only wish for decent ground beef prices.
I haven't seen it that low in a while but they do the BOGO every month or so and it's usually a good deal. Next week they'll be doing the 2.49 sale on meat. Albertson's sell Laura's lean beef pretty low and they have coupons on the Laura's website. It's a very good brand. I bought it exclusively when I lived in Kentucky.
