Default What's for dinner this week?

Thought we could compare our menus to make the most of our shopping experience. I try to make 2-3 dinners each week from the coupon list. I also try to use the crockpot at least once a week.

This week I figure I'll do stuffed red bell peppers using the peppers, ground turkey, sargento cheese and a rice-a-roni mix.

I also think that I will use some peppers and onions and chicken for Fajitas. There's a coupon for mission tortillas on 1/10 and seasoning on 1/24, so even though not on the list, it's still a pretty good dinner option.

For the Fajitas I put the meat, onion and pepper, a package of fajita seasoning mix and a can or two of beer in the crockpot on low in the morning. When I come home I warm some tortillas and set the table with cheese, sour cream and hot sauce. Easy weeknight supper that smells nice when you get home.

What are you guys doing??? I would love some ideas to mix it up around here.

That is so funny. I made stuffed peppers in the crock pot this morning and we had it for lunch. I too used ground turkey and brown rice in mine. I have an abunance to use up right now because Aldi had a sale 3 green peppers for .69. I'm also making chicken fajitta's this week.

made chicken pot pie tonight using frozen veg and progresso cream of mushroom soup (used a little corn starch to thicken) - quartered some pillsbury grands biscuits for the topping. we'll probably eat that 1 or 2 more times this week.
and we'll do tacos one night
if it's rainy and yucky might do soup & grilled cheese and if it warms up a bit soup & salad.
i have been making a weekly plan but just not inspired yet -- although stuffed peppers sounds good.

Please share how to do stuffed peppers in crockpot. I have never tried that and it sounds easier than coming home and putting them together at the end of the day.

I love crockpot suppers! Any hints are appreciated!

I wrote the recipe in a thread in Recipes a few days ago titled Crock Pot suppers or something like that. I don't know how to link it to here but you should be able to search the site to find it. It is super easy.
