they do take IPs, but they can not exceed half the value of the item (although I have heard that most stores do not enforce this). You also can not use an IP that requires no purchase ie a coupon for a free item. Their complete IP policy is in their coupons section on their website. They do double up to $1. So if you have a .75 off coupon, it will only double to $1. They have double coupons in their weekly food day ads. They also frequently have a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more (before coupons). It is not always in their add sometimes it is somewhere else in the food day section, so keep your eyes open.
Do they only double on certain days or always?
Thank you!!
They will double any day of the week, but I think that you have to have the double coupon with you (from the weekly ad).It will only let you double 4 coupons per transaction. If you want to double more than 4 coupons you need to find another double coupon and do a seperate transaction.
where are you guys at in WA? cause where I am Ive never seen safeway double or put out doubler coupons.....
I live in the Vancouver WA area, and all of the above seems to be true for me here, however, when it comes to the coupons doubling, my ads only state that they will match up to .50 on each of 4 coupons. So if you have a .75 coupon, they will only match it an additional .50, not .75. At least thats how my store interprets it. Hard to do any kind of large shopping trips when you're limited like that, but an extra $2 off my order, in addition to the $10 off $50 deals and my coupons usually makes for a good trip when and if I do go-which isn't often. Their policy is on their site (I printed it yesterday for my binder). HTH![]()
