Juice Deal at Dominicks (Safeway) in Chicago area

In their ad for 3/11-3/18/09, Dominicks has a deal where, if you buy 5 items (some are Capri Sun, Welch's juices, etc.) you get a special price per item and you save an extra $5 on future purchases. It also says mix n match and to see the store for products that are participating (they were clearly marked in my juice aisle, and I don't think the products were all juices, but I'm not sure about that.) After having tried to buy 3 Capri Suns and 2 Welch's juices for my five items(that were participating products), I have to tell you what Mix and Match REALLY means: You can buy 5 of one particular item in different flavors, as specified in the store, and then you get the special pricing and the savings. You can mix and match only across a particular product, NOT across all items. I returned all my juice, and the manager said he didn't blame me. It was not clear in the ad at all.

That would explain why mine didn't work. I had 4 treetops and one oceanspray. The assistant manager refunded me 5.00 on the spot as she couldn't tell from my receipt and the ad what was wrong.

hmmm....Im glad I only wanted the V-8 then cause that wasnt clear to me either!! I was coming over to say you can get a pretty good deal on the V-8 Fusion with this promo....you get 5 for $10 (after the $5 instand q thing) then there is a printable v-8 fusion $1 off coupon on chunky.com that you can print I think twice so you'd end up with 5 bottles for $8, a pretty good deal for that juice sorry you guys couldnt really mix and match! That doesnt make sense!!
