I just went to my local Rite Aid to get the 2/$3.00 Dentyne Ice Multi-pack deal and use $1.00 off the multi-pack coupon.

I usually have no problems at rite aid all the workers are friendly and always helpful with any problems I've had.

I was looking for the gum none of it was marked on sale so I grabbed the only Dentyne Ice multi-packs they had (the ones pictured on the coupon). I asked them if they could check and see if it was the ones on sale. The lady checked it and said no it was $2.99 and that the one on sale is the one thats been discontinued and the ones I had was the newer ones.

The ad states Dentyne Ice Multi-pack and thats what I had newer packaging or not I believe it should be on sale. So I just don't understand why they'd advertise a sale on an item that was discontinued.... I called customer service and was told they would submit it and I would get called back in 1-2 days so we'll see what they say.

I'm bummed because I planned on donating them to the troops. (My sons class handles all the troop donations at our school)
