Default Pantene Fuke at Rite Aid

I rarely shop Rite Aide but got off work a little early, so I went prowling. Their Pantene was 2/$7 for big bottles, 2/$6 for smaller bottles. (This stuff was 6.99-7.99 a bottle reg price........someone seriously pays $7-$8 a bottle for shampoo!???? ) Anyway, there were a very few bottles marked %50 off/clearance........took 2 to price check to see if I really wanted 'em, I only had 1 $3/2 Q with me. They were $1.50 each, so free with Q. I am very unfamilliar with RA so I can't say if this was a markdown error or their intent but I'll take free Pantene anyday.

Sorry.....still a little dizzy thinking about paying $8 for a bottle of shampoo. Someone must shop there without Qs.......unbelievable!!!

Great find!! Makes me want to go to RA and see if any are marked down. It's unreal what some will pay for items we can get for nothing or next to nothing. It actually saddens me to see people spend so much on so little when we all know they don't have too.

I am seriously just shocked by those prices, couponing less than a year.....but I always bought whatever was cheapest on any given shopping trip. To think people actually pay 7.99 for shampoo.....I can't get past that. Granted, it's pretty nice shampoo but it would have to make unicorns gather in the flowerbed for me to pay that much.

Ya know at first i felt bad for people who pay retail for their stuff but then one day while in line at walmart a lady behind me was buying a huge thing of Tide, and i can't use the stuff so i offered her my $1.50/1 coupon i'd gotten in a potluck trade. She looked up at me and at the coupon and said "do i look like i can't afford the laundry detergent?" i smiled and said "no, i just thought since you were buying the most expensive laundry detergent they carry you might wanna get a little off." She shook her head and said "give it to the next person i'm doing fine." I believe she muttered something like "these people are the reason it's so high for the rest of us." but as i was getting my reciept the cashier said "i'll take if she doesn't want it." And i gave it to her instead. It's THOSE kinds of people who keep us able to get these discounts. So i say dont' feel bad at all. They can learn the trade just as easily as we did and they choose not to. My biggest annoyance is the phrase "i just don't see how yall find the time t obother with that." or " I just don't understand all that stuff.". I'm not a rocket scientist and math is my worst subject and i can do it, they have no excuse. lol

Wow, some people just don't know how to be gracious!!! I often give older people coupons for detergent, dairy items, etc. and they are usually so appreciative!! My sister is sometimes leery of giving out her coupons for fear of being rejected like you were. Why couldn't she just say, "No, thank you for offering???" I'm not a rocket scientist either but I save hundreds over and over again...why wouldn't you want to?????
