Default Differences in Rite Aid up rewards this week

I am a bit confused by a difference in the Rite Aid ad that came out this week..as far as Up Rewards go. In the ad that came out Sunday, there is a Conair Neck Heat & Massage pillow for $19.99 with $5 in Up Rewards. Since I have some that expire this week, I was planning to do a trip this week..and my DH asked me if I would get that to give as a gift for the gift exchange at his work. But TODAY, in the paper there was a new Rite Aid ad...and DH noticed the exact same Conair massager..but this time it just said $14.99 with Wellness card. He even had me double check the dates on the original ad...which says it runs until Saturday.
So basically, in the end, it is the same price..if you take into account the $5 up rewards....but why do you think there is a difference in the ad. I was planning to go get it on Friday, with some other things I wanted to buy.
Since I am new to using the Rite Aid rewards, I am wondering if any of you have encountered this. Will they honor the original ad, and give me the rewards? That is the main reason my DH asked me to get it THERE..as he knows I like getting the rewards. So what shall I do? Should I check at the store?

Check the store.....it might actually be a new sale for $14.99 and you might even get the $5.00 +Up rewards as well. Sometimes when sales overlap, strange things happen to our advantage.

Thanks, Curtis. As I mentioned, I am new to doing the Rite Aid thing..so I was really bewildered by it. It probably would help me if I bring in the original ad. Thing is, with this weeks trip to Rite Aid, with the list I had made up, I would have made about $10 in up rewards..with that $5 factored in. Plus the coupons I have, and other sales, it would have worked out as a great trip. I will let everyone know what happens.

Here is the deal. I went to Rite Aid after work today..coupons in hand. Got all off my list, including the neck massager. It rang through at $14.99..so I figured, OK, good deal anyway..it was regular $23.95. In the car, when I looked at my reciept, I found I also got the $5 UP rewards from the original ad. Meaning I pretty much got it for $9.95. I can live with that. Once I sort out my reciept, I will do a thread, but I ended up saving about 45% on my whole order. Got almost $90 worth of stuff for $50...and that does not even include the rewards I earned.
