So how does this work exactly? Do you just walk in the store and get this stuff free? Do you need coupons?

Most are free after the Up's. A few require a coupon and a couple are free after Single check rebate.

I am learning that I need to be careful to check MY store ad before using the "freebies" listed here. Quite too often, an item is stated as being free after coupons and up rewards only to find out that my store isn't offering up rewards. It is really frustrating but it has taught me to do my homework first!

Last year, they had about 10 items free in one week all with Single Check Rebates.
Some of the were also money makers since I had mfr. coupons for them.
A few other items were free with the +Up Rewards.
I went to 2 different stores and was able to get all items.
I submitted the Single Check Rebate online and had the check within 10 days.
Since 2 of them items were for hearth-health, I also got an extra $10.00 check for purchasing them.
When I got the check, I took it back to the store, used my +Up Rewards from above on new items that were giving +Up Rewards, paid for it with my Single Check Rebate and got most of my cash back with new +Up Rewards.
I saved at least 120% after all was said and done.
