Default HOT!! Duracell 10pk for $2.24

I was catching up my reading of Post from last night on a very popular site.

They are reporting that DURACELL 10pks are rining up $2.24 at Rite Aid. This was posted yesterday afternoon aroun 4:00pm.

I will be trying this in a few hours and hope it still works. PLEASE report back if you try it and it works this morning!

Are there any Duracell coupons out there to make this an even sweeter deal?

Headed out this afternoon in search of some batteries. We really needed some and I never seem to get the eveready Q's to get them free at Target. All 3 stores in town were cleared out of the AA, and I could only find 4 of the AAA. The manager said that someone came through each store and bought all they had, 15-20 packs per store. Grrrr...who needs that many batteries?? On the bright side the nice assistant manager wrote me a rain check for 6 packs and that is all I wanted anyway. He was so nice and made me feel a little bit better. He said that Duracell is changing packaging and that is why they are so cheap.

Default 7 packs, 70 batteries total for $9.68

My kids slept late for naps, so after dinner I tossed 'em in the car and off we went to town for a "deal trip". I loved the fact that Rite Aid was dEaD at that time of night (9pm). I actually had to search for a cashier. I didn't see any plain 8-packs, but there was a 8-but-bonus-2 so actually 10 pack plus a bonus glue stick attached. I had it price checked, and voila! It was $2.24!!! I went back to the shelf and searched the back of the pegs - I found 7 in all, and 6 had the bonus glue stick. I was so happy because I seriously needed glue sticks too, so that was a great bonus for me. I had a $3/15 coupon and had $3 in ups that would have expired on Saturday so this was a super deal for me.
Bought 7 "8" packs AA batteries Duracell
    used $3/15
    Used $3 ups

Oh and, there were still more left over when I left the store, so I didn't shelf clear! There were display boxes of them on the counter! The cashier said she was going to get some for herself too

Thanks for posting this! I would have missed it otherwise. As it was, I went to my RA this a.m. and purchased 10 pkgs (5 AAA and 5 AA) of 10 batteries for $2.24 per pkg. I happened to have 8 $1mq too so it was an especially nice deal for me!!! The expiration date on the batteries is 2018 so plenty of time to use them.
