Question Need WAY beginner explanation of Rite Aid deals PLEASE!

Ok I tried WAGS deals a year or two ago and failed as I never would send in my rebates etc LOL....

SO now I am trying to learn how to do the Rite Aid deals as they seem a little easier?

First off how do I get the Wellness + card? Will I get it right in the store first trip?

Then can I use coupons on the UP rewards items? How do the UPS work? (I read a bit on the other thread but that still didn't make too much sense to me) Thanks so much for your patience and explanation!!!

Just go up to any cashier and ask them for a card. You just fill out some basic info and they give you the card. You can start saving and get UP rewards on qualifying products right away so check your weekly ad out to plan your shopping trip. If you have mfr. coupons for any of the items, it makes the savings even better. And to top it off, if there are any items that have Single Check Rebates, you can save more money.

also they have videos....they are maybe a min. long when done you can print out your ips right away for diff items...you choose the videos. This month there are 3 diff ones that you can receive $1vv off of anything so that equates to $3 you can use on anything!

    Default rite aid 101

Rite aid has a number of programs

You can save money with the wellness card -it allows you to get the sale prices
You also can get +up rewards, which spend like money for future purchases, with your wellness card.

Rite Aid has single check rebates - a new set each month. You enter your receipts online - nothing to mail. This means you can use your same receipt for the Rite Aid rebates and manufacturers rebates.

Rite Aid has video values - you watch videos on their website and get Rite Aid only coupons, which can be combined with manufacturers coupons and +up rewards.

Rite aid runs periodic special rewards - the current one is the resolution reward. Every time you check out with your wellness card you accumulate points towards your resolution reward. When you hit 100 points you get a $20 +up printed on your receipt!

When you earn a set amount of points in a calendar year you achieve silver status - and 10% off your non sale purchases = which is awesome. You get a discount on things like milk, newspapers, and all stuff which is not on sale. At another point level you reach gold status, and 20% off. The best part - once you are at gold or silver you stay there for the next calendar year!!

Rite aid also has some special things, like allergy rewards, for those who buy allergy meds.

They also have coupons in the paper all the time for gift cards with a prescription transfer, which is awesome. Also, you get points toward your silver or gold when you fill your scrips.

I used to be a big CVS fan, but Rite Aid has been so awesome lately that I can not say enough good things about them. If you really work the Rite Aid programs you can save a boatload of money....and have a really good time, too.
