    Default Recyclebank

Okay, so I have been in a toss up about joining. I see people complaining about not getting their coupons, and then I see people recommending Recyclebank.

    * Is it hard to get points for coupons?
    * What is it about Recyclebank that turns you on to or off them?

    Could you explain your vote?

Sometimes it's hard, other times it's pretty easy. You just have to keep your eyes on it. I'm new to it myself, and there may be ways to get points I'm not aware of. Right now I only have 255 points.

There are (IMO, now) only a few really good Q's you can get: Honest Tea, Kashi, Coke product... I did use the $2/1 Aveeno items recently at CVS. A lot of folks seem to use a bunch of Honest Tea ones. I love Kashi, but it is so pricey I won't buy it unless there is a sale and I have Q's.

When I signed up last summer, it did take a while for me to receive my confirmation to get started, but other than that it's been very simple. They used to have a $5/$30 CVS store coupon, which was great! I would order one of those as often as allowed, but that hasn't been around for more than six months. I love the high-value Kashi IP since I always have to have a box of their TLC Trail Mix bars around the house. They're the best. I also take advantage of the Coke Qs sometimes for members of my family (not immediate) who like Coke products. I enjoy Honest Ade, so I've printed those Qs as well. The Aveeno Qs helped me get a couple of good deals on Aveeno recently as well.

I was really rambling there about Qs I've gotten from them! I have about 600 points right now and I haven't ever done anything beyond the standard methods of earning points: short quizzes, codes, etc. I think it's 'totally worth it.' It may just depend on whether or not you prefer products and/or brands that have a relationship with the Recyclebank site. I would recommend it to someone in a heartbeat. HTH

I recently got coupons from them for 2 free cans of wet cat food. It was 4 or 5 coupons total, and they were on special that day for 10 points. So the 8 or so free cans of cat food were had for fewer than the number of points they gave me just for signing up. I'm building up some points and keeping my eye out for another great opportunity like that. My coupons arrived with no problems about a week or two after I ordered them.

It is pretty easy to answer quizzes and get points when they are available. Just used my points to get a $10/50 Staples coupon that I was able to print immediately. Definitely worth it for me. I am going to combine my coupon and ink recycling rewards to get free printer ink at Staples. Plus it is totally free, so what's not to like?

I have been having fits trying to get points (sure it's operater error) but for instance there is one about recycling pet food cans but it won't come up for me. I also thought you were supposed to get 100 pts for signing up but I didn't

Swagbucks is legit. I've belonged for probably a couple years now. I only earn points by doing internet searches through them (and I don't really do that much anymore since I don't do the online job that I had to do tons of internet searches anymore). I've always redeemed my swagbucks for money through PayPal. Whenever I get enough to get the $5 PayPal payment, I buy it and it shows up in my account a few days later.

I LOVE Swagbucks! I am saving up my swagbucks to purchase a Kindle! I usually just do searches and the easy 5 pts a day (poll, NOSO, visit the survey page, and using the toolbar).
