How does this work? Do you just go in and buy something and get a reward card? How much is it usually worth?

Basically you just buy something that's at least $10 and they give you a card with a little area that you scratch off (assuming they do it the same way they did it last year). I believe you can't scratch off the amount until you get to the register to pay though. Last year mine was worth only $10 but I was buying an item that was only $20, so I saved half. Pretty good deal!

So you make a purchase now, get a card which they scratch off at checkout. THen come back in December to use it?

Yep, but they scratch it off in December when you use it, not right when you get it. (sorry to explain that if you already knew what I meant)
