I went in yesterday. I had my V.S. Angel card "Free Panty and $10 off Any Purchase" coupon.
I grabbed my free panty and their new Miraculous bra ($48). I needed to spend $2 more to qualify for a $10 discount. That's a no-brainer, right? The cheapest thing I could find were the mini hand sanitizers for $3 each. I already have a bunch of those. But then I found these small, pretty tins in purple or pink with breath mints. I thought they would make a nice addition to a Victoria's Secret-themed gift basket I am making for a Christmas gift. They were marked $6 but there was a small sign indicating they were on sale for $4.00. I picked the purple.I paid $48 for the bra and $4 for the mints = $52 - $10 Q = $42 + Tax. I used my V.S. Angel card to collect the points. (For every $250 you spend on your card, you get a $10 gift card mailed to you. I rack them up in with hoiday gifts!) Then they handed me the "Unock Your Secret Reward" booklet with the "Secret Reward" card inside; valid Dec 1-24. Now, I'm sure there is a 99.9% chance but this card is only $10. But I like the fact that there is a chance that this is a $50, $100, or $500 card. That would make my holiday budget MUCH more comfortable!!! ![]() Short term game plan is to wait til December 1, then go in and see how much the card is for. None of their gift sets are on sale right now, but last year I used a $10 V.S. Angel gift card card for a $29.99 gift set that was on sale for 40% off. I only paid $1.60 + Tax! If they won't allow me to combine a sale price with this "Secret Reward" card I'll just buy two more of those pretty mint tins: 2 x $6 = $12 -$10 Secret Reward Card = $2 + Tax for two mints. I think that's a pretty good deal!
