Entertainment/dining daily deals
Just signed up for daily emails from a discount entertainment site/group. Right now they only offer deals in a few major metro areas around the US.
The site is called groupon.com . Click on the big 'groupon collective buying power' at the top of the page, and you will see what metro areas they offer deals to. Right now they have Atlanta Boston Chicago Detroit Los Angeles New York Washington DC.
You can sign up for the daily deals in your area. They seem to get some fantastic deals on entertainment & dining.
Tomorrow we're taking a S.F Bay catamaran cruise, and I was able to get the tickets 1/2 price through one of the daily deals. Then, we're going out to a local SF restaurant (can't decide whether it should be dim-sum or mex) with one of the restaurant.com certificates I bought for 80% off.
Should be a very good day, and cheap!!
I'm not sure if posting the link for the groupon site is allowed or not. I wasn't sure if it was considered a competing site?
