Default World's Best Lasagna from allrecipes

I know most of you are boiling up right now so sorry to post this in summertime but this is what I made tonight. the sauce alone is to die for... I plan on making this again with just veggies and sauce to have my own pasta sauce on hand. I used a whole pack of Johnsonville sweet italian sausages, casings removed. And I had a one lb chub of meat so I used the whole thing. I also just used kraft parmesan, since that's what I had.

Sounds a lot like my lasa recipe. Years ago, I was living with my sister and BIL and he liked my lasagna so much, I'd wake up in the morning and the stuff to make lasagna would be on the counter. BIL would go to the store in the am before work so I'd have the stuff and could get it going. One thing I do, is simmer the sauce in my crockpot for several hours so it'll have that slow cooked flavor.

It was pretty good! A tad sweet, maybe from the ricotta? I didn't have any parsley on hand, not sure if that would have affected it. I have three containers in the freezer with enough in each for a full nights dinner for us. So four meals from this one recipe. DH found it good, not amazing. DS ate every bite with no problems. he is a really good eater now, he used to have trouble at dinnertime!

Thanks for posting! I am looking for a crock pot lasagna recipe. I bought lasagna noodles at Aldi last week, they were $1.19 there.

I'm sure you can use the no boil noodles and the same sauce recipe as above. Let us know!

I dont ever boil my noodles..I dont buy special lasagne noodles either. I just make sure my sauce isnt too thick and the uncooked noodles will soak up the xtra sauce and it turns out pretty yummy.Plus the no boil noodles cost more..
