Salmon patties, Rice a Roni, and green beans. An easy and inexpensive dinner.

Broccoli casserole (instant rice, chopped broccoli, cream of chicken soup, margarine, and chopped onion) and some more of the 49 cent tossed salad from Aldi.

Oh man, the chicken stew I made the other day in the crockpot is amazing. I guess I could have added a chopped onion for alittle more flavor but it's really good.
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (4 lbs total) chopped carrots, chopped potatoes, 1 can cream of chicken and 1 can cream of mushroom soup. I can of water, salt, pepper, paprika and a bit of garlic totaste. A small can of mushrooms as well. WOW. It's sooooo good and total comfort food during the Winter.

I decided that I'm going to pre-cook the bacon to a semi-limp stage and then wrap the chicken and finish... I think it'll be much crispier...

Details girl, how long did you have in the crockpot? Did you add the tater's right away or later in cooking? Sometimes they get a little 'too' mushy KWIM? This sounds really good and DD23 is still a little too sick to go to her dad's for dinner so my plan for tonight is out the window, LOL!

I am guessing she added them right away. What she listed as ingrediants would cook very quickly in a crock pot.. meaning that the chicken could potentially be done before the potatoes!
