Default Dinner last night was Chicken Marsala (with pic!)

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into medium sized strips
1/2 cup or so flour
dried basil/dried parsley
salt/pepper
few tbsp. oil/butter for cooking
2 cloves minced garlic
package sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup marsala wine
1 can chicken broth
cornstarch/water
hot cooked fettucini

1. Mix the salt/pepper, dried basil, and parsley with the flour. Coat the chicken strips in the flour. Heat the oil and butter in a large fry pan, cook the chicken in the pan until done. Outsides should be nice and golden
2. Remove the chicken, and add garlic and mushrooms to the pan. Cook for a minute or so until the mushrooms are softened. Deglaze the pan with the wine, then add the broth. Cook for a few minutes, reducing the liquid. Add the cornstarch and water to thicken the sauce, then add the chicken back to the pan and heat through. Serve over hot cooked fettucini, with green beans on the side.

That looks so good!

Thanks for including the photo. I am not a very good cook and I love to have a photo to see if I am anywhere close to getting it right.

I know I love the photo too. Maybe I can start doing that more often with my 'dinner tonight is...' threads.

I still haven't figured how to get my photo's off my camera. I am so dumb when it comes to computers. I received an Ipod Nano for Christmas in '05 and it's still as brand new as the day it was purchased. I can't figure this crap out. I suppose if I just sat down looked at the pictures I might be able to do it.

Anyway, I have a Sony Mavica camera (it takes mini-cd disks) and I can't take the disk anywhere to have them printed. Every store that develops photo's can't make it work. I love the camera and it takes top notch photo's, but it's not user friendly for dummies IMO...

Glad you liked it! You can use whatever veggies you like, sometimes I don't make any. But the green makes it look nice on the plate.
