Were there Nestle q's from the 11-1 RP?
Yes, we got 1.00 off Qs in my paper for the cookies and I think1.00 off 2 on the morsels? But they were printables......

Thanks, Li! My area got .50/1 for the morsels, so they'll be cheap for me.

Even better idea. I have some of these anyway. I'll have to dig them out. Thanks for the tip.

I love peppermint bark and am eager to try this! Two questions?

How long does this keep? Should it go in the fridge and could it be frozen?

Also, I've had peppermint bark that has a both a white chocolate and a milk chocolate layer. I thought that one would first make the milk chocolate layer and let it cool completely (maybe in fridge or freezer?). Then, pour the white chocolate layer over it and add the crushed peppermints. I'd love the opinions of better cooks I am - do you think this would work?

Another variation on the peppermint bark idea - I make brownies and add crushed peppermints/candy canes when they come out of the oven. The candy melts slightly (which is yummy) but mostly stays crunchy. This couldn't be easier to make and is very inexpensive.

Yes I'm keeping mine in the fridge, I thought about doing the layers too. I let mine cool in the fridge before breaking it up, it was set in about 15-20 minutes. I don't know about freezing, it may get that flakiness that chocolate gets when its old and look weird. Try a small peice and find out! That's what I do when I'm not sure, I freeze a little bit, then if it doesn't come out right, I only lost a bite or two.

Coupon Queen - that's a good idea to freeze just a little piece! How long do you think it would keep in the fridge? Nothing I like better than to get cooking/baking done way before the holidays hit.
