I have made this several times.....one thing to note....your cake may not rise as high as it would normally...at least mine didn't....but it was really, really, really good.
try diet cherry coke in a chocolate cake....gives it a nice hint of cherry...real tasty.
haven't done the bean in the brownies though....not quite sure I could do that...seems sacriligious to mess with chocolate like that.
