Depends on the dimensions of your dish. I use a dish that is around 6" by 12". I microwave, uncovered, on high for at around 23-25 minutes for 2 lbs of ground turkey. If your microwave doesn't rotate, you should turn it halfway. The edges will be carmelized, my favorite part. Ground beef takes longer.

I use

2 lbs. ground beef
1 egg
1 roll of ritz crackers crumbled
salt, pepper
onion, but we are not big onion eaters so I usually use a small amount of minced onions
1 can of veg. soup it's the only way to get vegs. in my son. he loves this and use to pick out alot of the vegs but now eats them.
mix, make into loaf, pour small amount of water this is where I rinse out the veg. can. cover with foil bake 1 1/2 uncover bake another 30 minutes to brown.

I make mine in the Crock pot!

2 # ground beef/turkey (either or a combination)
1 cup oats
1/2 cup milk
2-4 tbsp dried onions
1-1/2 tsp garlic powder (or lots more )
1-1/2 tsp onion powder (or lots more )
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1-2 eggs

I put everything into a gallon ziplock, seal it and mush it around to combine. Dump it all into the crock pot. Smooth the top with a spatula. Squirt on some ketchup and mustard. Cover and cook for several hours or until thermometer reads at least 160 degrees.

With the diet I'm on, I found a recipe that uses beans (great northern) instead of the bread crumbs since I'm not allowed to have bread/bread products. i haven't tried it yet, but it's next on the list...I'm hoping it turns out ok.
