She's been asking me for my recipies for years now that she has her own family so I thought it would be nice, thanks so much for your recipe, I'm the who can cook you a ten course meal without blinking an eye but baking is not something i've always enjoyed but that is a keeper. My sister is a fantastic baker but it's not a talent for me! The easier the better

seems as if she's blessed to have both sides of the family to teach her around here (my little ole neighborhood) we've got some who can bake and some who can cook and we all share with each other my dd is learning all sorts of recipes from a variety of cooks

If you want chewier cookies, look for recipes that have more brown sugar than white sugar. The brown sugar helps keep them soft, and the white sugar will make them crispy. I no longer use the Nestle Toll House recipe, because I found one I like much better.

My DD really needs this cookbook because tho she comes from a family of women going back many generations who were and are now wonderful cooks, I don't know what happened to her she got lost in the shuffle for sure!! Everytime she comes here to Ga to visit me, I spend days before making all of the things I cooked for her and her brother as they were growing up. I have to admit she is getting alot better(thank goodness for crockpots) but she tries, bless her heart!
