Default Country Style Rib recipe?

I was just reading on another thread how someone got some c.s. ribs on sale at FL and realized I haven't bought those in years. What is your favorite way to make these...without drying them out!!
TIA!

We made some about 6 wks ago that were great! We put them in the crockpot with a bottle of BBQ sauce and let them cook for like 6 hours. I made rice on the side. Then we served the ribs and sauce over the rice. The sauce had thinned out and become like a gravy. Absolutely delicious.

If you have a roast pan, during the cooking process, use a little bit of water in the bottom to create "steam" There will be a little bit of grease from the ribs but it shouldn't be much if you got a nice pack. And I always cook mine low and slow to keep them tender as well as moist.

I put a whole bunch of them in the turkey roaster, cover and bake at 325 until almost done. Then, I drench them in Kraft hickory smoke sauce and cook uncovered until nice and brown. YUM

I parboil mine in pineapple juice until they are cooked though then I baste them with BBQ sauce and place in the oven (or on the grill) for a few minutes.

The pineapple juice is a natural tenderizer...

OH! and the pre boiling them helps to get rid of some of the fat.

never thought about the pieapple. I do the slw cooker or crockpot, I boil them first and use bbque sauce and let them do their thing for 4-6 hours no fuss, serve with the rice as mentioned and you are all set, delicious

I agree with the crockpot it's the way to go. I throw it in with a bottle of BBQ sauce and 1 cup of OJ. Cook all day. The longer they cook the more they fall off the bone. You need to cook at least 6 hours though in my opinion. Serve with white beans and baked potatoes. Easy meal your family will love.
