Default Chocolate popcorn

I'm hoping someone can help.....my grandma used to make delicious chocolate popcorn and I didn't get the recipe before she passed 10 years ago. Since then I've searched her cookbooks and tried several recipes off the web, but they all turn out more like chocolate carmel corn (which is good, too, but not as good as gramma's). She grew up near Hershey, PA, so I think she probably got the recipe from there, but the Hershey recipes on the web aren't the same.

Does anyone have a recipe that isn't like chocolate carmel corn? I remember it being more powdery or something.....

Thanks!!

Oh I so hope you find this - before my Gram passed, she taught how to make her cinnamon rolls and homemade bread. I'll never forget the look on her face when I knew she could no longer make the bread herself so I bought her a bread maker-HUGE mistake. Grandma doesn't/didn't do fancy pants new wave items as such I miss her terribly.

Hopefully some of our Top Chefs are able to help you out

Default Thank you...

Thanks for finding this site, Carol. I'm going to give this recipe a try! I'm also going to check out other recipes on this website - I love recipes that are simple and uncomplicated like they were "way back when."

Oh I so hope this is like Grandma's was....I also knew Carol would come thorugh I must admit, I surfed around for atleast a half hour yesterday but I think I was thrown off by the 'powdery' ingredients - most of the ones I found seemed more like the one you mention in your OP. X=fingers are crossed, also I printed some of those recipes for myself too.
