Default cole slaw recipe?

I would love to find a good cole slaw recipe. I've tried some homemade cole slaws before and didn't like them. I LOVE the cole slaw from KFC so if anyone has a recipe that's like that I would appreciate it.

A quick search of the Internet,

KFC Cole Slaw Ingredients:

8 cups Cabbage chopped
¼ cup Carrot shredded2
2 tbspn Onion minced
¼ cup Buttermilk
½ cup Mayonnaise
½ tspn Salt
1/3 cup Sugar
1/8 tspn Pepper
¼ cup Milk
2 ½ tblpn Lemon Juice
1 ½ tspns apple cider vinegar

Procedure:
1. The first step to make KFC Cole slaw at home is to cut cabbage, carrots and onions and finely chop them so that they come into very small thread like pieces (approx. ½ inch in length).
2. Using electric beater or egg beater mix mayonnaise, sugar, milk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and pepper in a large bowl and beat until smooth.
3. Now add buttermilk in the paste and again beat to make thick and smooth paste.
4. Add chopped vegetables; cabbage, carrots, and onion and mix well.
5. Wrap the bowl with a gelatin sheet or cover it tightly and put into refrigerate for at least 2 hrs.

I don't eat cole slaw but make it for my hubby and family, so I don't have exact amounts but I just take cabbage and chop it as fine as you like your slaw to be. My grandfather doesn't have any teeth so I run mine through a food proccessor to get it really fine. I do the same with baby carrots if I choose to add them (they are optional). I then add mayo (i use dukes) salt and pepper to taste and a pinch of sugar (i'm told this cuts the bitterness but I don't eat it so I don't know) I mix it all up with a fork till it's nice and "wet" looking then have my hubby to taste it. I sometimes have to add more mayo, salt, or pepper but everyone seems to like it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Here's one I like:

1/2 cup of mayo
2 tbls of sugar
2 tbls of white vinegar
regular coleslaw, (not the really finely chopped stuff)
1/4 to 1/2 cups of finely chopped red onion
1/4 to 1/2 cup of chopped carrots
1/2 cup of raisans
1/2 cup of dry roasted sunflower seeds
8 slices of good quality, cooked bacon, chopped finely (I usually just use the package of chopped, sliced, cooked bacon - it does say that it is 14 slices but I like a lot of bacon....
mix all of the dry ingrediants and then poor the dressing over and toss, the flavors need to meld so do toss it at least 15 minutes prior to serving

This came from my cousin and I think it's good. I usually make extra dressing...maybe double it.

Default dump slaw

My favorite cole slaw recipe

1 jar Marie's Cole Slaw dressing
1 bag of cabbage (you could chop your own varieties)
1 small can of diced pineapples
pecans (optional)
dried cranberries (optional)

Always gets compliments and all I do is refrigerate it for at least 2hrs
