Default I need appetizer ideas !!!

I am going to a Martini Cocktail party this upcoming weekend and I need to make an appetizer to bring with me. I want something different than the standard cheese and cracker etc (even though there are some good deals out there right now ) Any ideas ??? Would like something you can just eat with your hands to make it easier. TIA

something simple.........

prosciutto ham wrapped around melon pieces.......looks elegant......
is sweet and salty......a little prosciutto goes a long way
all you need are some fancy toothpicks to hold it together

Party Pinwheels

1 envelope Lipton dry soup mix (onion, garlic/herb, or ranch)
8 oz cream cheese
1 C Mozz Cheese
1 tbsp Parm Cheese
2 tbsp Milk
2 refrigerated pizza crust

1. Preheat oven to 425
2. Combine first 5 ingredients
3. Unroll pizza crust flat, and top evenly with filling
4. Roll, jellyroll style, starting with long side. If it's too soft, roll in wax paper and refrigerate for a bit. Cut into 32 rounds.
5. Spray baking sheet with Pam and place rounds, bake for 13 minutes until golden brown.

Delish....

Those little phyllo cups. Make a chicken salad, or salmon salad or something and stuff in those. You can do a "fancy" chicken salad with grapes and nuts if you like that. If you don't mind a little extra work, I like using piecrust better and cutting them with a biscuit cutter and pressing them into minimuffin tins and bake then stuff. Better I think than the phyllo.

Or stuff with whatever you like. Chop some veggies really fine and mix with a basil parmesean mayo, stuff in and tuck a shrimp on top.

For sweet and easy, choc pudding mixed with cool whip (or do real whipped cream) Place in little shell and put a half strawberry on top. Shave a little choc over top of all once filled.

Mini Caprese Bites

Grape Tomatoes
Mozzeralla balls (the little ones)
Cut Basil

Thread a tomatoe, a piece of basil and the cheese on toothpicks. You can include some olive oil for dipping if you'd like. Easy, looks and tastes good and somewhat healthy as well.
