Default Uses for all the free salad dressing

I saw the pasta salad thread and it got me thinking how I can use up all of the free or nearly free salad dressings I have. I've got ranch, thousand island, italian, catalina, balsamic, just about any kind you can think of. Although I do eat a good bit of salad, I don't think I'll be able to eat that much before all of them expire! Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Thumbs up

For your Thousand Island dressing, make reubans.

Corned beef
Sauerkraut
Thousand Island Dressing
Swiss Cheese
Rye.

Put all together and then grill it..
Awesome!

I use italian for marinades. I soak chicken, pork, beef ect. for a few ours and grill. Very easy and pretty tasty too. I eat catalina on watermellon.... LOL not sure you'd like that. My sister eats it ON spaghetti noodles. I've never tried that before though. My hubby and kids love ranch and they make wraps, using soft burrito shells, lunch meat, toppings of your choice, and salad dressing. Hmmmm what else....I used salad dressing on mashed/baked potatoes...I can't think of anything else though.

RANCH=Chicken wings, Baked potatoes, chicken fingers, w/ pizza (buffalo chicken pizza maybe)
THOUSAND ISLAND=Baked potatoes
ITALIAN=Perdue Shortcuts Grilled Chicken Strips + Green beans soaked in Italian,
meat marinade, cucumber onion and tomato salad
CATALINA=I had a recipe for meatballs that I found at Kraft's 1 Bag, 5 Dinners site. It uses Catalina dressing. I'm assuming that most of your dressings are Kraft, so they have a ton of recipes using these dressings that you would never think of.
BALSAMIC=I love dipping hot french bread in balsamic vinegar. It can also be used as a marinade for meats and on vegetables.

Thank you for the ideas. I think I will try the Kraft site also--didn't think of that one but makes so much sense!

I make a tortellini salad using italian.
cook tortellini, drain, chop cucumber and tomato combine all three in a bowl and toss with italian dressing. Let marinate a few hours if possible in refrig.
Serve over lettuce of your choice, with more italian dressing. Great summer salad on a hot day.

You could also make a tuna salad.. and toss it with the bagged salad. I do that quite a lot.

I use thousand island on porkchops and any meat. I have also mixed it in with rice.

Itailan I make anything with it..One thing hubby makes a is an italian salad.

If you have raspberry vingerette you can put on porkchops or roasts.

trust me with the dressings I always found a use for them other than salads...

Ranch I use for anything as well..Like for french fries, dipping sauce for chicken nuggets or anything like that...
