Default Alfredo Sauce Mix

1/2 cup dry milk powder
3 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder (or LOTS more! )
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder

Mix together and store in ziptop bag. (I usually quadruple this recipe so I have a few on hand at all times.)

To make the sauce:
Melt 2 tbsp butter
add 2 cups water
baggie of sauce mix
More garlic to taste

Stir together. Cook on high in the microwave 5 minutes, STIRRING AFTER EVERY 1 MINUTE cook time (otherwise you will end up with globs instead of a smooth sauce.) Cook until sauce is nicely thickened.

Add 2 tbsp parmesan if desired.
Makes 2 cups of sauce

YUM!
Allison
