Default Boxes and Boxes of Cereal interesting idea/s to use

Hello ,

Do you know what to do with small batches or large batches of cereal lying around which no one seem to finish.

Dry roast rice krispies, may be just very little oil,put some turmeric, red chilly powder,a pinch of salt powder to taste.and then mix that with an equal quantity of other cereals that you have. And prompto you have readymade snack. Kids love it. And economical ? For couponers, Betcha!

I also use every last bit of cereal that we have.
Corn flakes are crushed and mixed with seasonings to use as a shake & bake coating. The sugared cereals are crushed and used for ice cream toppings.

My gram used to use them in cookies...cheerios, raisin bran, whatever she had on hand leftover. Not much different I guess than the chex mix and cheerios bars they have out I guess...never tried them though.

We LOVE cereal snacks: Rice Krispie treats with cocoa krispies mixed in or fruity pebbles mixed in, Cheerios bars, Chex mix, muddy buddies, Product 19 cookies, Corn Flake Candy. My 3 yr old is on WIC. She gets 36 oz cereal each month.

Oh yeah.. Cypress Inn Muffins with Raisin Bran, too. Love 'em!

I never have extra cereal. My 2 are cereal hogs, they have completely gone thru 5 boxes in 2 weeks. The only cereal they won't eat is their dad's b/c he told them not to touch it. lol
