Frozen Garlic Bread Sandwich
Sorry if someone has already posted this ... I made it last night and it was AWESOME!
Had a bunch of those frozen Pepperidge Farm garlic breads, so made a sandwich:
Directions on back have an option for "soft bread" where you wrap the whole thing in foil and bake at 350 for 30-35 min. Before doing this, I filled the inside with deli chicken, sandwich size pepperoni, sauteed peppers/onions/garlic and mozzarella cheese (out of ham, otherwise that'd be in there too). wrapped the whole thing in foil, put on baking sheet and baked for 30 min. Remove when done and add lettuce, tomato, mustard/mayo, etc and eat while warm. Yummy!
My Mom told me I could cut these in small pieces and use as an appetizer/party platter for a get-together. Between DH and I, we each had 1 6-8" sandwiches with it and a small bowl of soup and were stuffed.
