I bought stew meat from Target the other day and cut it up to make beef straganoff. Tasted very good. Paid .75 for a 1.20 lb of stew meat

Hi … Here are a few ideas other than just making more stew …

… meat with bar-b-que sauce and serve on rolls
… slice meat thinner, add veggies and make a stir-fry with rice
… slice meat thinner, add peppers/onions and make fajitas
… add beans and spices for a great chili
… cook and then shred the meat for rolled burritos or taco filling
… cook meat then add shrimp and use on spicy rice for jambalaya
… take meat and veggies, stick on a skewer and have kebabs (grill)
… cooked meat as a pizza topping
… cooked meat can be ground into a great sandwich/cracker spread
… cooked meat with red (tomato), white or butter sauce over noodles
…. cooked meat added into mac-n-cheese with veggies

I boil mine until tender/falling apart and can be shredded with a fork. I then brown it just a bit in a frying pan and make brown gravy(from a packet) in the pan with the meat and serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.

Thanks so much for the ideas! I always get stuck in a rut making the same dinners. I know my kids will like these ideas too! Thanks everyone, I'll let you know how it turned out!
