My 'go to it' meal' is tortilla wraps.
1/2 package of flour tortillas 1.00 1/4 to 1/2 lb. hamburger, chicken, sausage (usually leftovers) 1.00 or can black beans green pepper, onion, lettuce, tomato 2.00 salsa, to taste ,50 handful of cheese .50 Total - 5.00 (can be less with Qs) In a pan, saute the meat, then add in chopped up peppers and onion. Add slasa to taste. Top tortillas with shredded cheese and heat in 400 degree oven. Add filling to tortillas, add chopped tomato and lettuce, add more salsa and roll up. Really, almost any meat, beans, rice, many veggies, fish and coleslaw. can be used to make many different wraps. Great and easy way to spice up leftovers. |

One of my 1st husband recipe was rice, corn, salsa and beans. Mix it all together. Cheap and good and quick..Sometimes i would leave the beans out when he wasnt home cause me and the girls didnt care for the beans but I would eat them..
My hubby enjoyed dinner last night..I tell you the crockpot (slowcooker) is the greatest thing since sliced bread..
