Dough Boys (mom's specialty).
Take a roll of sausage, hot spicy Bob Evans is a good one (q), but any brand of ground sausage will do. Take a package of canned dough (Pillsbury q), I use the dinner rolls but again any kind will do. Break the dough out and cut each roll into quarters and flatten out each piece, should be about the size of a silver dollar. Drop a teaspoon of uncooked sausage into the middle of the dough and wrap it up to look like a ball. Plop onto a cookie sheet and bake at 350 for about 10-11 minutes. Making the dough balls is a little time intensive, but you can make them in advance, cook them and everything, and refrigerate, and heat them in the oven or microwave just before serving. Serve them with BBQ sauce or mustard for dipping.

Hot biscuit cheese dip
Again take out a can of Pillsbury dough, but use the crescent rolls for this one. Unroll the dough but don't break the individual rolls apart, and squish together to make one big sheet of dough. Drop a block of cream cheese in the middle of the dough and fold the rest of the dough over the cheese to cover it completely, sprinkle the top with dill weed if you like. You can get fancy with crimping the edges if you want to, or maybe cut your monogram in the top like a pie crust. Then just bake it for 12-13 minutes at 350, and viola hot biscuit cheese dip, serve it with crackers and a couple of small knives. We also call this one "poor man's Brie".

Cheese cake
If you have cream cheese, you can always make cheese cake, in mini or full sized.

Wraps
Use flour tortillas spread with softened cream cheese and add whatever fillings you have, olives, turkey, veggies, salad dressing, cheese, etc. Wrap, slice and serve.
these all sound delish! can i use the hillshire farm frozen sausage (i think it says original) for the doughboys? i love that one in the stuffing recipe that they have on the package.

Shrimp Dip

1 can (drained) or 1/2 lb fresh cooked salad shrimp
1 package cream cheese
Milk (3-4) tablespoons usually

Blend in mixing bowl with mixer until creamy, but not runny.

Use as a dip for Fritos, veggies, or crackers. Very popular at parties!

Yep! Just cook them and let them cool. The beaters will mix them up enough. Don't waste your time chopping them. I add just enough milk to make it cream together. This is one of our faves and it's so darn easy.

TBmomof3, here's my baked potato soup recipe.

2 c. milk
2 - 3 T. flour
shredded cheese
bacon bits
1 c. sour cream
3 T. butter
approximately 6 potatoes
salt & pepper to taste

Melt butter in pan on stove. Add flour. Mix. Add milk and cooked potatoes (I do mine in the microwave. Then scoop out the insides right into the pot). Cook until thickened. Add some bacon bits and cheese and the sour cream. Cook an additional 5 - 10 minutes. Garnish with cheese and bacon bits. Enjoy!

living free, that's close to my recipe for potato soup, too. Yum! I need to make that soon. You can actually add anything you might like on a loaded baked potato into the soup. I've put in ham, broccoli, bacon, etc... I use the skins too! Very hearty meal!

You can use any kind, the spicy sausage is what mom normally uses (because it's dad's fave), but I've done it with several kinds and it all tastes good. In a pinch I've even used links chopped into nuggets, but I think the ground sausage is a little better.

this is a cup a cup a cup a cup recipe!
You need:
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayo
1 cup cream cheese

add together mayo, sour cream, cream cheese, cheese, and jalapenos, mix well with a mixer. Let it all sit in fridge 30 minutes to 1 hour to set up.

lay tortilla flat, spread mix over toritilla, add roast beef and wrap --do not fold ends in! Cut wrap in 1/2. Viola--roast beef wraps!

i also add a leaf of green leaf lettuce to mine, and also use turkey or ham as an alternate meat!
