Hi cboyer - my Husband buys the Jack Daniels marinade that already comes in a bag (aprx. buck eighty-nine @ Walmart). He pricks the meat first and then marinates for a day or sometimes longer. If I was serving London Broil, I'd have a baked potato with Asparagus (done in the oven) with a small bits of butter smothered with parmesan cheese. We have not done a london broil in this marinade, mainly tri-tips but no doubt it would be just as tasty!

Have fun -
Macey

Well, if I were doing a LB, I would BBQ it - not sure if this is an option for you? The only other way I've had it is to slice and make Stroganoff. I have never tried it in the oven - maybe some others have? I have heard of some broiling it.....

I love london broil for times when I need a quick crockpot meal. I throw it in the pot with potatoes, carrots, and onions and let it cook all day. It falls apart by supper time. I've also let one cook all day then shredded with a fork, add bbq sauce of choice, throw it back in the crock pot for a couple of hours. Makes a great bbq beef sandwich. I want to try some of the other ideas you've gotten. I get in a rut and do the same things OVER AND OVER, so I would love to try some of these. I just bought 2 london broils today

OK, I actually have my Ingles grind up my London Broils and I have some really good hamburger. I make them into what I consider 'chopped steaks' like they have at Longhorns. Well, sort of. I can't use 'real onions' because they bother my stomach but I put minced onions, salt and pepper and Dale's Steak seasoning in the burger. Lots of Dale's. They turn out great. Very lean.

Claudia since you already have it marinaded why not just broil. Would be more like on the grill if you don't have that option. Medium doneness is best for me. Slice thin. Steakhouse type sides. I like that oven roasted asparagus mentioned by Mouse. I'd use a little OO instead of butter and still sprinkle with parm.

If you have plenty of leftovers you can finish slicing them then saute in a pan until a little more done than medium then top a salad. (I don't like medium meat on a salad I have to have more done)

Or you could slice the whole shabang and use in fajitas.

How much did you pay per lb for that hunk-a-meat? Our LB's haven't been on sale in a long....time.

it was on sale at Publix for I think 1.99 lb........I know it was cheaper than the ground sirloin......I'm so sick of chicken.......I think I will just broil it....I just don't want it tough and I don't think I ever made a london broil before so I'm not sure....it has been marinating all night......
